You may have never noticed the list of applications that your Facebook profile is connected to. It might be a friendly application suggestion from your friend which prompted you to try out a particular application . But did you think about the privacy concerns that would be associated? Well many of the application and the application developers get access to a large part of your personal details. So revisit the applications that you may have trusted out of impulsiveness and remove any unwanted ones. Here are the steps to do that.
Go to account and select Privacy Settings
In your Privacy Settings Page on the bottom left side you can find Applications and Websites. Click on Edit your settings below the heading to reach the settings page for Applications, Games and Websites.
In the settings page for Applications, Games and Websites, select “Remove unwanted or spammy applications”.
On the “Applications you use” page edit settings for the application that you want to remove and select “Remove Application”
Viola!! you have got it done. From now onwards always check what any application would access from your personal profile before you accept any application request from your friend or relative.
