Recently, I have traveled to India in Kuwait Airways. The experience was very bad and if not for direct flight, I would try to avoid travelling in it.
On my onward journey to India, I have made the online check-in and as directed in the website, went to the airport around 2 hours ahead of the flight. I was pretty happy to see a check-in counter for the passengers who did the online check-in. However, the officer at the counter asked me to stand in the normal queue. I insisted that online check-in is done and it is only the baggage and boarding pass he need to do. He just said go to other queue and I saw may other passengers were asked to go to the normal queue.
It makes no sense to have the online check-in done for Kuwait Airways as the staff are not cooperative. I believe they require bit of a training on how to treat the passengers who did the online check-in.
May be they act differently as part of their strike, though I traveled after the strike has been called off.
On my return journey, I was looking for the headset in the pouch in front of the seat.I asked he crew about it and he just said, it is not their on the return journey. I said it used to be there every time I traveled. Then he said, its not there now. to my surprise, the switch for calling the crew was not working. I did not hear the bell sound even once in the flight, which indicates that the switch is turned off. May be the crew wanted to get no services requests.
Anyways, at the end, the flight landed safely and we are relieved.
