For the same plan local calls can be made at Rs. 0.50 per call and video calls for Rs. 0.70 per call.
MNTL has the 3G data offering as Jadoo Services as a bundle along with a fixed number of calls.
- 3G 1500(10GB + 10 GB (11pm to 7 am)) for Rs.1500
- 3G 2500(Unlimited) for 30 days for Rs.2500
For postpaid dolphin users there are the following data plans
- 3G 450 (1GB, 30 days) for Rs.450
- 3G 650 (2GB, 30 days) for Rs.650
Tata DOCOMO also has started offering 3G data services. There are different plans but for an average user the 1 GB connection would be essential.
Small Screen 3G 1000 (1 GB FOR 30 days) for Rs.1000 (+ 2000 mins for calls)
Small Screen 3G 2000 (2 GB FOR 30 days) for Rs.2000 (+ 5000 mins for calls)
With others like Reliance, Vodaphone and Airtel getting ready to offer 3G services within the next few months there could be a price reduction benefiting the user. These service providers are also planing for bundled offers with the latest 3G phones in the market like iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S, Nokia N8, etc,.
